Switzerland was neutral throughout the Second World War, it had to deal with numerous border violations in its airspace, caused by fighter planes and bombers of both sides, Allies and Axis powers. Swiss fighter planes tried to force fighters and bombers to land when they entered Swiss airspace, which mostly succeeded, and the crews were interned.
